　　1、調整情緒。有的人想學，但卻“怕”字當頭，這與科學的學習方法相悖。心理學家認為：“當一個人感到極度興奮時，學習的效果就極佳。它可使我們的思維變得敏捷、活躍，注意力集中。”所以在記憶單詞前應首先調整好自己的.情緒，使自己擁有一種學習單詞的熱情和牢記它們的決心，努力使自己處于學習的最佳狀態。

　　2、運用記憶法記單詞。現在有許多記憶單詞的方法，如詞綴詞根記憶法、同義詞和近義詞記憶法，分割聯想記憶法，詞源記憶法等。我運用最多的是結合記憶法和詞綴詞根記憶法。

　　3、鞏固和強化。單詞在初次學習后，應及時地復習、鞏固，以免在短時間內遺忘。還有一些方法比如收聽英語節目、看英文原版錄像都是效果不錯的方法。即經常有意識地用英語交流。英語考試中閱讀理解題所占考分大，耗時多，但如果平時能做到多讀，則有助于提高閱讀能力。閱讀要快讀，以提高閱讀速度，增加和擴大英語感性認識。
