To witness immoral behavior in public， one need only visit the Beijing subway. I still remember the first time I took the Beijing subway. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school. When I was trying to get a ticket， I found a lot of people waiting in front of me， but nobody was in the line.
Immoral behaviors in public exert a series of problems. One of the most serious ones is that it may exert a negative impact on our sense of social responsibility. We will keep ignoring other people’s rights and feelings， and in turn， we too will be disrespected some day.
The improvement of this phenomenon is certainly not easy. With an eye on practical implementation and cost effectiveness， I propose that society make it clear in every way that people who fail to respect the common good will be seriously punished. Stricter policies for this should be made to correct this phenomenon as soon as possible.

A Witness of a Theft Incident Yesterday, I witnessed a theft incident on my way home. The thief was so rampant that it left me a very deep impression. It was in the rush hour, when many people were buying tickets at the subway station. A woman took her purse out and paid for the ticket. Then she put her purse back into her bag and turned to leave, when a mid-aged man brushed past her muttering Excuse me. She didnt feel unusual and went into the station. Indeed, her purse had been stolen by that man. To our surprise, the thief seems not to be nervous at all and even began to look others up and down. Maybe he was searching for the next target. At that time some persons, including me, witnessed the process. But unfortunately, no one dared to warn that woman. This incident makes me ashamed and leaves me a deep thought. The pickpocket has posed a great threat to residents and visitors property safety. Undoubtedly, it is an urgent thing to take action to prevent pickpocket. However, it cannot depend on the police only. Instead, it needs our common efforts. We can not shut our eyes and mouths to the pickpocket any more.
It should be kept in our minds that our forces are far beyond those thieves.

We should strive to identify the causes of those improper behaviors and find ways to eliminate them. There are a host of causes, I would argue, behind this trend. To name only one: the lack of moral education. The government should wage a massive moral campaign to fight against this trend and we ourselves should endeavor to behave decently in our daily lives. We have seen many news about how rude Chinese tourists were， such as throwing away rubbish at will， jumping the queue or speaking loudly in public. The media from home and abroad always spread the negative information about Chinese tourists， while it is just small part， not presenting the truth.
I have been to many foreign countries. Everytime before I started my journey， I told myself to be polite and well behaved and I made it. But I found that many bad behaviors happened among foreigners， whom we used to believed the most polite people in the world. They jumped the queue and spoke loudly in the public. So it is not fair to CRIticize Chinese tourists all the time.
It is true that some Chinese tourists don’t realize their bad behaviors， but now， most people behave themselves well and act very politely. When we see the negative information， there is no need to self—denial， as it happens in every country. We are happy to see that the young generation is spread the positive image to the world.

We have all seen or experienced it before---those inappropriate and often unsanitary actions which disgust and annoy most cultured people in society. Spitting, littering, peeing in public---all these and others fall into this category. I personally had the embarrassing experience one late night of seeing a man peeing alongside the river. Such inappropriate public behavior has a terrible effect on society. For one thing, most unsanitary behavior can spread germs and diseases to the general public. For another, they contribute to the pollution of the environment and show little or no consideration for the environment.
We must take steps as a society to improve this situation. Our government should sponsor public announcements and advertisements to emphasize the cultural inappropriateness of this kind of behaviors. Our schools and teachers should teach and enforce acceptable standards for all students. And in the home, parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles should all work together to teach the children what is right by example.
