　　Why are they so over-enthusiastic about studying abroad? One of the reasons may be that they prefer a different style of life, which can open a new world to them and help enrich their experiences. Moreover, he or she will become a multi-cultural person.Secondly, they can improve their foreign language quickly, and thus they are likely to get a good job. Lastly, better laboratory equipment and large amounts of information may be another attraction for many students.

　　At precisely the same time as the bell rings, some students dash from the chairs, rushing to the canteen. They set the prelude to the most attractive scene of the whole day.

　　Within a few minutes, all the classrooms become empty and everyone starts their journey for lunch, on foot or by bike. It gives people the impression that lunch is the most important thing in the world. Most of the students move at the same speed,with the exception of several excellent cyclists. They shuttle smoothly in the crowds just like fish swimming freely in the sea.

　　On the way to the canteen, everyone looks anxious. But once inside, a look of pride and triumph takes over. Sometimes,it bubbles up in my mind that the rush hour hustle and bustle is the epitome of the intense competition in real life. 　　first of all, the environmental impacts, including the increasing exhaust fumes of cars, more pressure on water resources, huge amount of wasted leaflets and other materials used for public activities, are most probably neglected. in order to broaden the streets, some trees may have to be cut. near the construction site, the tiny dust may linger in the air for a long time. reduction of farmland may be caused by the need of setting up new sports centre or accommodation facilities. these environmental consequences can be especially serious in a resource-limited and densely-populated city in a third-world country.

　　besides, if talking about the economic benefit, it should not be forgotten that a quick boosting may lead to bubble growth, which may easily crash. if not well managed and organized, the big event may not be so profitable, and the new facilities may be forever empty after the games. yes, there have been cases that host cities ended up with enormous debts.

　　finally, let’s think about the low-income groups in the city. what will they get from the olympics bidding? more tax, more fees, more expensive property prices, and higher cost of living. these definitely are not good news for them.
