　　現在的生活中已經離不開英語了，比如說：高速公路、鐵路的路標下面都注有英語;停車牌都用的字母“P”;公交車上先用中文報站，然后又用英語報一遍……可以說英語已經融入了我們的'生活。

　　我的爸爸是70年代的人，以前沒有學過多少英語，即使能多少讀幾句，但讀出來的音也非常古怪。針對這種現狀，上周星期六我便給爸爸當了一回英語小老師。

　　我先在本子上寫了四個字母讓他讀，他一開始，看見這些字母，非常高興。他說：“這就是你們所學的英語嗎?不就是我們在幼兒園時學的拼音嗎?”我大笑起來：“爸爸，你可真沒見識，這不是拼音，只是跟拼音的寫法一樣，讀法卻完全不一樣。”我知道爸爸這是在開玩笑，或是考驗我，他不是還能讀幾句別扭的英語嗎?我認真地教爸爸讀了這四個字母，接著又教他讀“你好”、“再見”等英文單詞，開始爸爸和我們在學習一樣，覺得很無聊，不想學了。我嚴厲地對他說：“這學英語可不是一朝一夕就能學會的，要有一定的毅力去長期學習。”聽了我的話，爸爸認真多了，我們又開始學習了許多新的單詞。

　　對于5年級的學生，作文的要求也提高了很多，很多學生在介紹別人或者是寫自己喜歡的小動物的時候很容易忘了第三人稱單數動詞要加ses，如：He get up at 7 o’clock(get忘了加s)，在用到現在進行的時候動詞很容易忘了加ing(如I am play the piano，play就忘記了加ing)，介詞和介詞短語也占了很重要的位置如介詞in，on，at，of。介詞短語如dream of(區分dream that)和be afraid of都是很重要的介詞短語，很多學生忘記了介詞后面要加動詞。

　　時態：故事性文章一般用過去時，其中表達感受時可用現在時。說明性或議論性文章一般用現在時，舉例時可用過去時。根據題目要求也會出現時態的交錯使用，如過去和現在的對比等。如果句中出現了時間狀語，時態則要遵循時間狀語。

　　如ago，last…過去時；next，in…將來時等

　　人稱：注意在句子中人稱的統一。

　　例如：

　　其中we和our就是人稱的統一。

　　格式：注意書信格式的開頭和結尾。

　　（2）找全信息點，緊扣主題，突出重點

　　切忌只看表格中或所列的信息點。一定把題讀全，找齊信息點，建議用鉛筆標出，寫完后再涂掉。根據題目，可適當增加合理內容。特別注意文章要有開頭和結尾。

　　（3）成文時表述正確，文字流暢

　　切忌與漢語提示的一一對應，使用所學表達方法將語義表達出來即可。首先考慮句子結構（如主謂賓，主系表等）。同時注意短語的正確使用和單詞的拼寫，最好使用課本上學過的短語和句式。

More of money doesn't always make us happier. More of Money tends to make us used to that money and desirous of having even more of that.

They show great concern for the fact that many people prefer pop music to symphonies, because for them pop music should be excluded from the holy palace of music.

After all, there are many badly-composed symphonies. And we can’t expect every piece of pop music to be excellent. Pop music reflects the thoughts and interests of a certain age group of a generation. It is the product of a certain age, but it also has something universal, something that belongs to all human beings, that underlies its great success among people. In this sense it is rather foolish for some people of media to show great concern simply because many people prefer pop music. Anyway pop music has become an indispensable part of the human family.
