　　媽媽也很著急，要我上課認真聽講，回家后還每天督促我讀呀背呀。盡管我把老師每天講的新單詞都認認真真地記了下來，可是老師發下來的英語作業中，有很多別的小朋友學過的單詞我卻不認識，既不知道意思，又不知道該怎么讀。

　　有一天，我在做英語作業的時候，又遇到一個英語單詞“goggles”。我既不知道它的意思，又不知道怎樣讀。正在我手足無措的`時候，我看見爸爸在用電腦查東西。電腦真是神奇，不知道的東西一會兒就查到了。我問爸爸：“爸爸，我不知道的英語單詞，能在電腦查到嗎？”爸爸回答：“能，你自己來找找吧。”爸爸說著，就讓我坐到了電腦前。我發現電腦里有個軟件叫“金山詞霸”。我打開“金山詞霸”，把“goggles”這個單詞輸進去，然后點擊查詢，一看，我恍然大悟，原來“goggles”是護目鏡的意思啊！單詞后面有個小喇叭，按一下還能發出單詞的讀音來。我高興極了，一邊不停地按，一邊跟著電腦讀。就這樣，在電腦的幫助下，我學會了“goggles”這個英語單詞。從此以后，“金山詞霸”成了我的第二個英語老師，一遇到不認識的英語單詞，我就找它幫忙。慢慢地，我的英語水平提高了，上一次英語考試，我還考了全班的第三名呢！
