英語(yǔ)節(jié)快要到了，易老師讓我們做手抄報(bào)、背unit3c部分。
第二天晚上，我找來(lái)一張廢紙，開始構(gòu)思該怎么做手抄報(bào)，媽媽看見我愁眉不展的樣子，隨口說(shuō)到：“你不是有本《中國(guó)少年文學(xué)報(bào)》嗎？上面就有奧運(yùn)的知識(shí)呀，你可以參考一下嘛。”我眼前一亮，趕緊把那本書找來(lái)，翻了翻，又想了一會(huì)兒，就動(dòng)手在上面畫了五環(huán)，寫上小標(biāo)題，分別是——奧運(yùn)的由來(lái)、動(dòng)物也瘋狂（趣圖鏈接）、我對(duì)奧運(yùn)的感想、鐵人三項(xiàng)、賽跑。大標(biāo)題是“我為奧運(yùn)狂”，然后在在書上精心挑選了三幅有趣的圖片，然后粘上雙面膠，先把雙面膠的一頭粘在紙的一邊，拉到足夠的長(zhǎng)度后再弄斷，就可以了，然后依次粘好。再放到合適的位置，貼好，第一環(huán)就完成了，接著我又把鐵人三項(xiàng)和賽跑的資料抄在另一張紙上，再翻譯成英文，抄上去，就可以了，奧運(yùn)的由來(lái)嘛，資料暫時(shí)沒找到，就先擱著了。
做好手抄報(bào)后，我就睡覺了。

This phenomenon has actually developed quite naturally in recent decades due to our educational systems focus on English study and therefore on English-speaking cultures. To many students, Western culture has become a symbol of self-expression and freedom from restraint. Celebrating Western holidays has become a way for students to express their love of something different from traditional Chinese culture, and to have fun together with their own generation.
In my opinion, its fine for students learning English and studying English-speaking cultures to celebrate Western holidays with their teachers and classmates. However, the way I see it, unless the young people later go abroad to live in those cultures, there is no reason for them to continue to celebrate them.
