At first I did not really like it as I felt that the game could get quite rough and I would get tired easily. But as I get older and have more practise, I find that soccer is really quite fun, especially when I manage to score a goal. The feeling of scoring a goal is really great. When I was in primary four, there had been an inter_class soccer competition. It was very fun. My team came in third. I was contented. even though I was not the champion. I had managed to get a trophy. That was definitely better than nothing. If I were to have another chance, I would like to take part in a scoeer challenge and represent my school.

　　The following appeared in a memorandum issued by a large citys council on the arts.

　　In a recent citywide poll, fifteen percent more residents said that they watch television programs about the visual arts than was the case in a poll conducted five years ago. During these past five years, the number of people visiting our citys art museums has increased by a similar percentage. Since the corporate funding that supports public television, where most of the visual arts programs appear, is now being threatened with severe cuts, we can expect that attendance at our citys art museums will also start to decrease. Thus some of the citys funds for supporting the arts should be reallocated to public television. Discuss how well reasoned... etc.

　　In this argument the author concludes that the city should allocate some of its arts funding to public television. The conclusion is based on two facts: attendance at the citys art museum has increased proportionally with the increases in visual-arts program viewing on public television, and public television is being threatened by severe cuts in corporate funding. While this argument is somewhat convincing, a few concerns need to be addressed.

Every morning, as soon as the alarm clock wakes me up, I get out of bed and go into the bathroom, sleepy-eyed. After taking off my clothes, I rub my body to stimulate circulation. Then I turn the faucet on. A hissing avalanche of water foams down my body in cold sheets. I close my eyes, not thinking about anything, so that I can better enjoy the cool sensation and pleasurable prickliness of the cold spray. I stay this way for about two minutes. When I finish, I dry myself with a towel, put on my clothes and step out of the bathroom refreshed and relaxed.
