We all want to grow up happily and healthily, and for this goal we must do several things.
Firstly, we should develop a good attitude to life. Life consists of not only sunshine but also hard times. We should be brave in front of difficulties. Secondly, we must study hard because knowledge is power. If we have the power, we can help to build our country and enjoy life better. Lastly, in order to study well, we need to do sports so that we can keep fit. We can go running, play ball games or simply take a walk after a day's study. If we do those things well, we will be able to grow up happily and healthily.
When I m free or in trouble, I always take out a book and read quietly. In no time, I ve put my heart into it so that I ll forget all the troubles. It s in this way that I ve formed the habit of reading in any time.
Little boys as I was, I was interest in picture books and storybooks. I was struck by them. No sooner had I entered the middle school than I began to read novel, plays, and essays and so on. I found I could get much from them. Little by little I took great interest in literature and last term I won the first prize in the composition contest among middle-school students in Zhe Jiang.
Reading The Emperor s New Clothes , I had to let out a burst of laughter over his fool. The Little Match Girl couldn t keep me from crying for her misery. Robinson Crusoe took me into a strange world full of danger. And I was also deeply impressed by Helen Keller s patience and perseverance Besides these, books also tell me other thing -how to be a man and how to tell the difference between right and wrong. In a word, good books can make me know what I didn t before. So I think of a good book as my best friend.
I ll never forget this famous saying, Good books are best friends who never turn their backs upon us.
Three attributes can help people in their studies. First, a sense of responsibility is important for building a sound character. If you aren't responsible, you'll postpone your assignments or devote too little time to your schoolwork.
Second, in school life, relationships between people are valuable. Friends can bring you happiness and laughter. In addition, you can discuss problems and pursue knowledge with them.
Last, it is important to have a constructive philosophy of life. If you are defeated, don't be disappointed. Try to face your life and your studies with courage and determination.
If you can work toward these goals, you'll become a well-rounded and versatile student instead of being a bookworm.
There are many people are deaf among the sixty billion population. They don t have a sound body. They have to face much more difficulties than common people in their daily life. However, there is a big problem they have to face. It is the unfair treatment. As they are disabled, they often looked down upon or teased by others. Many people regard them as useless. In fact, this behavior is not approval. The deaf are human beings that need to be treated equality. They can also make contribution or be useful people for the society. They just couldn t see everything by eyes instead of foolish. For example, Helen Keller is a blind person, but she uses her own story to inspire thousands of people around the world. So, I think we should give a chance to the deaf. Do not discriminate them and try your best to offer them help. The world will be a better world.

Born in America, Thomas Edison was a great scientist and inventor. He was once thought to be a boy who was not worth educating. In fact, he was a man full of imagination.
I admire Edison a lot because of his great contribution to the world. He had more than 1,000 inventions. In his lifetime, he was always eager to know how things worked, which helped him to earn the nickname the Wizard of Melo Park .He was also so diligent that he worked day and night. And this explained why he had so many great inventions.
What impresses me most is his famous saying, Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Probably I cannot be an Edison myself, but I can be a hard-working learner. From him, I realize the secret to success is not when or where you were born, but what you are doing and how you do it in your life
