At the end of that summer vacation, I found I became nearly as fluent as a native English speaker.

　　記得我第一次學英語是在三年級。開始，老師在講臺上講著，我在下面聽英語老師講課就像在聽天書一樣。我想：沒關系的'，這絕對是因為我剛學英語才這樣的，多讀，多學一定會的。可是這一節英語課過去了，老師講了幾十個英語單詞，我就學會了一兩個。“學會了一兩個單詞也算是學會了。”我安慰自己說。可是過了一會兒，連這一兩個單詞我都忘記怎么讀了。回到家，媽媽問我：“今天的英語課學會幾個單詞呀？”我低下頭小聲的說：“一個都沒有學會。”媽媽說：“怎么沒有學會呢？”我說：“剛開始還學會一兩個，現在忘記了。”

　　星期四這天，又有一節英語課，老師讓我們讀一下上節課學的單詞。輪到我讀的時候，我對老師說：“我不會讀。”老師一生氣，就讓我站了一節課。回到家，我下決心要學會英語，就先讓姐姐教教我。我姐姐說我的英語基礎太差讓我報個英語補習班。我對媽媽說：“媽媽，我想報英語補習班。”媽媽答應我了。學了一個月之后沒有見什么效果，媽媽就不讓我上了。

　　因為我學英語這件事，我們家花費了很大的財力和人力。我也為此感到慚愧，我心想：“因為我，我們家為我花費了這么大的精力，可我還是學不會英語，我一定要找到學不會英語的原因。我現在已經五年級了，英語有所好轉，但是還是沒有完全學會英語。
