在我們學校有了一個新規矩，那就是：每當到每天的第一節語文課，前5分鐘都要進行演講，順序是學號排的（我的學號是17）。沒想到英語老師舉一反三，也安排英語演講，順序是按坐位排的（當時我坐在第一組）。語文我以經夠煩的了，現在還來一個英語，我就更煩了！唉！我只能胡過去了。
我今天講的就是我怎么“胡”過去的。下面我就來說說：
在前天我感覺作業特別多，有語文《習字冊》、英語背書，其中最難的是準備明天的英語演講。我可是一點也沒想呀！
首先我得想想該做主題是什么英語演講。是什么呢？是什么呢？是什么呢？……啊！我終于想到了那就是：笑話。想到這個主題時，我立刻想到了英語報上的'笑話。
我立刻翻開英語報查找起來。我查到了兩個笑話，一個是特別難的，一個特別簡單的。如果我選擇難的，明天的英語演講我就有許多單詞不會讀。如果我選擇簡單的，我怕到明天的英語演講結束時，會有很多同學瞧不起我。怎么辦？怎么辦？怎么辦？……我有陷入沉思。最后，經過我再三考慮，我選擇簡單的。因為不會總比會的好，難道不是嗎？所以我以經做好被嘲笑的準備了。
新的一天開始了！
這節英語課我想來的晚一些，沒想到第三節英語課這么快就到了！幸好這節英語演講沒有我想的那么糟糕。我也還加了5分（雖然是倒數第一的加分）。
很高興這次“胡”過去了！
