“什么？”來自哪里？全場師生都蒙了，這位同學到底來自哪里？大家都陷入了短暫的思考。哦，對，他來自河北！河北被翻譯成了river north，連英語老師也是頭一次見，今天學到一個新詞了！全場哄堂大笑！
這位同學剛介紹完，另外一位身材高大的同學站了起來，他首先介紹了自己叫什么名字，然后說：I’m from broad quiet。 broad quiet？嗯，中國應該沒這個省，難道這位同學說的是我國的`某個市？廣安？對，四川省廣安市！不對，我來自遼寧省！全場又蒙了！broad quiet是遼寧啊，這真是長見識了。
接著另外一位同學也站了起來，身材不高，皮膚黝黑，“I am from lake construct！”，有了前面兩位同學的介紹，大家這回都有心理準備了，lake的意思是湖、湖泊的意思，construct是建造、創立的意思，兩個放在一起意思是“湖泊建造”？這是哪個省呢？“湖建”，終于發現了，是福建！這個翻譯太有才了，跟福建當地口音結合不錯，一般人真猜不出來是什么意思！全場再次爆笑！
這就是中國式英語的魅力，我們就是這么韌性，哈哈！其他還有很多省份的翻譯：比如luck woods是吉林，mountain east是山東，upper sea是上海，fold river是浙江，inner guessing ancient是內蒙古等等。
小地名也有很多，door head valley是北京市門頭溝，west double flag是北京西二旗，哈哈哈！

Hello everyone, my name is XX. This is really a great honor to have this opportunity, and I believe I can make good performance today.
Now I will introduce myself briefly. I am 20 years old，born in xxx province, south of China, and I am a senior student at Guangdong xx University. My major is English. And I will receive my bachelor degree after my graduation in June.
In the past four years, I spent most of my time on study. I passed CET4 and CET6 with a ease and acquired basic theoretical and practical knowledge of Language. Besides, I have attended several Speech competition held in Beijing, which really showed our professional advantages. I have taken a tour to some big factories and companies, through which I got a deep understanding of English for application. Compared to developed countries, unfortunately, although we have made extraordinary progress since xxx, our packaging industry is still underdeveloped, messy and unstable, and the situation of employees in the field is awkward. But I have full confidence in its bright future if only our economy can be kept at the growth pace still. I guess you may be interested in why I choose this job.
I would like to tell you that this job is one of my lifelong goals. If I can work here,I will work hard. As to my character, I cannot describe it well, but I know I am optimistic and confident. Sometimes I prefer to stay alone, reading and listening to the music, but I am not lonely, for I like to chat with my classmates about almost everything. My favorite pastime is to play volleyball, to play cards or to surf online. From life at university, I learn how to balance?study?and entertainment. By the way, I was an actor in our amazing drama club. I have a few glorious memories on stage. That is my pride.
