Warming up and

lead in Lead in to the topic of this lesson with a video about Harry Potter. Later, ask Ss that “Do you like the film?” And After then tell Ss, “I like this film best. It’s my favorite movie. I like Harry Potter, because he is a good student. He works very hard and does so well. Let’s see how he works, ok?” Show Ss pictures about Harry Potter in PPT. Ss are required to guess the name of the movie through a video.

Free talk 1. Raise a question: What’s your favorite movie and why?

2. Ask Ss to find a partner and share their own opinion. Talk about their favorite movie and tell the reasons.

Purpose 1、用電影Harry Potter預(yù)告片作為本課熱身,順利引入本單元的重點話題“What’s your favorite…? My favorite…is….”讓學(xué)生習(xí)得詢問他人最喜愛的東西、以及表達自己意見的句型,為完成下一步的語言目標提供語言支持,同時激活課堂氣氛
