Warming up

Play different kinds of music. For example, pop music, dance music, rock music, classical music, jazz music, country music and so on . Listen to the music, trying to recognize what kind of music they are. 創設輕松和諧課堂氣氛,讓學生自然進入本節課主題。

Lead-in Tell the students to talk about the questions: Do you like music? What kind of music do you like?

Presentation 1. Show the students the dialogue pattern:

- What kind of weather do you like?

- I like sunny weather .

- Why?

- Because it’s warm. I like the weather which/that is warm.

2. ask the students to practice different topic: animal, movie, music, etc.

(1) - What kind of animal do you like?

- I like elephones .

- Why?

- Because they’re smart. I like animals which/that are smart.

(2) - What kind of movie do you like?

- I like comedies .

- Why?

- Because they’re funny. I like movies which/that are funny.

(3) - What kind of music do you like?

- I like rock music .

- Why?

- Because it’s loud and energetic. I like music which/that is lond and energetic. / I like music which/that has great lyrics. / I prefer music which/that I can sing along with. / I prefer music which/that I can dance to.

1. 本節課主要體現了任務型教學原則,讓學生在“學中用,用中學”。學生活動的設計貼近學生生活和經驗,使學生在自然、真實的情境中體會語言,掌握語言,并得體地加以運用。學生通過完成Pairwork , Groupwork , Listening and speaking等特定的任務來獲得并積累學習經驗。在任務進行的過程,學生有充分的時間和空間展示自我。

2. 引導學生總結自己所體會的學習經驗,以此來鞏固知識并培養學生的學習策略。

3. 開展小組合作學習,并積極開展學習小組之間的競爭,前三名的小組被評為先進學習小組,從而激發學生的興趣和參與熱情,培養了小組成員之間的團結合作精神和競爭意識,提高了學生完成任務的質量。

小組合作學習中出現的一些問題是由于學生不善于合作,不知道怎樣合作造成的。因此,在英語教學中教師要有意識地逐漸培養學生的合作學習能力。例如,培養學生學會如何表達自己的觀點、學會傾聽他人的意見、學會討論問題、認識小組合作學習的重要性、建立團結互助的關系和增強小組成員的集體責任感等等。
